How To NOT replace Umbrella velcro (O_O)

So the old velcro of the umbrella got ripped from so much use, so I decided to replace it with another strip of velcro, but...

I gleefully spent about an hour sewing on the new patch of velcro, but it wasn't until the nail varnish dried that I realised that I SEWED IT ON THE WRONG SIDE OF THE STRIP O___O

Yeah, I feel VERY silly right now ^_^"
Please learn from my mistake and always check that when you're sewing, you should always check that you're sewing stuff at the right places >.<

EDIT: Oh yeah, about the nail varnish part... I applied some clear nail varnish onto the stitching on the non-velcro side so the stitching becomes stiff and therefore a bit harder for them to undo by accident. At least, that's what I thought of without going on Google ^^"
